This week Monday, May 7th- May 12th is picture week at Kids Dance! Students should come to class dressed in their recital costumes. We will post more information about  how you can purchase pictures soon.

The day has finally come when you can now register for summer camp at Kids Dance. Click on the “Summer Classes Schedule” button, for more information on all the camps. These week long camps will give each student time to express creativity, learn new moves and meet new friends.  All camps will end with a small performance on Friday. This week, April 23rd-28th, we are celebrating Princesses! Dancers can dress up as princess royalty to their class! Also, don’t forget that tickets go on sale this week, Monday April 23rd! Forms will be in the lobby. It’s going to be an exciting week!

Yay! Costumes are in! This week we will be handing out the recital costumes during your student’s class. Please come by your student’s classroom 15 minutes before the end of class to collect costume, hair, & makeup infomation from their teacher! If your student did not receive a costume, please see the front desk. Thank you!

Did you get a chance to see “Peter  Pan” this year? Luckily, I was able to snatch two last minute seats to their final performance yesterday. Let me tell you..It was fantastic! There was something for everyone to enjoy with whimsical dancing, humor, and flying ballerinas! I’d have to say my favorite part was when Tinker Bell fell ill from drinking poison. Each child in the theatre was given a glow stick at the beginning of the performance and were asked to wave them about to “save tinker bell!” It made the whole theatre twinkle! Kids just loved it. We encourage parents to take their young dancers to local performances and ballets if possible. Besides just having fun watching, this also excites & educates kids about the wonderful, wide world of dance!
